Business Development Representative

IronOrbit is currently looking for intermediate/mid-level Business Development Representatives (BDR) with outbound B2B calling experience to join our Business Development Team. You will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospects in order to schedule meetings with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Deliver prepared sales calls, read scripts tailored to catch the attention of the prospects, and drive that conversation to schedule a meeting
Verify leads using different researching techniques and tools, such as LinkedIn (LI), and contact prospects by phone, email, and social media to schedule appointments and demos
General understanding of IronOrbit products and services to explain and answer questions from potential customers
Obtain customer information such as company name, industry, size, location, key decision-makers, job title/position, and contact information
Adjust sales scripts to target the needs and interests of specific individuals, companies, or industries
Field telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements and other marketing campaigns
Call or email in response to new sales prospect inquiries or follow up on initial sales contacts and customer referrals and schedule a meeting
Maintain detailed records of activities, contacts, accounts, communications/conversations, and notes for discussion and review

Required

Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
2-3 years' experience in a B2B BDR role selling business solutions, products, or professional services
Fluent in English with exceptional and articulate oral and written communication skills in a professional setting, including talking to clients and conveying information effectively and efficiently
Basic understanding and experience selling IT solutions (preferably managed services), and products with the capacity to learn how to align products and services with customer needs
Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
Software: Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc
Self-motivated and ambitious individual who is results-oriented
Agile & Flexible: Capable of transitioning between tasks, maintaining focus and attention to detail
