Responsibilities
Develop and maintain constructible 3D BIM models and detailed electrical installation drawings to support field operations
Perform clash detection and coordination, working closely with internal teams and other design disciplines
Produce 2D and 3D electrical drawings using Revit and other BIM tools for design-build and permit projects
Support project managers and estimators with conceptual designs, value-engineering ideas, and technical documentation
Review vendor submittals and shop drawings for accuracy, constructability, and contract compliance
Provide technical support to project teams and stay current on electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent experience in BIM, engineering, trade school, or a related field
Proficiency with Autodesk products, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision
Strong desire to learn and grow within electrical design and construction
Occasional travel may be required
Preferred
1–2 years of BIM modeling experience preferred
Experience with Evolve software is a plus
Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, drawings, plans, and specifications is preferred
