Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
Perform API testing using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks
Develop robust test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment
Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
Ensure compliance with banking standards, security, and regulatory requirements
Perform database validation and backend testing as required
Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA best practices

Required

Strong experience as a QA / SDET
Proficiency in Java programming
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Solid experience in API testing (REST/SOAP)
Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services domain
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
