Responsibilities
Deploys data center-related end-to-end technologies. Monitors, tests, capacity plans, preventive maintenance, repairs of data center equipment and associated electrical, alarms, and monitors systems per vendor specifications at the enterprise data centers
Performs hardware installation & decommission of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure
Troubleshoots and repair of data center hardware and networking infrastructure
Racks and stacks of data center equipment, including but not limited to servers, networking devices, monitoring systems and other equipment
Racks installation includes putting racks in place, cables, power up and hand off of servers to internal provisioning teams
Monitors of data center environments using monitoring tools
Documents and modifies standard operating procedures for the data center
Supports the inventory process by keeping track of order replacement parts and return failed parts as required
Installs structured cabling, performs labelling, and troubleshooting of fiber, copper, and telecom cables
Manages system power supply and ensures uninterrupted power supply inside the data center
Qualification
