Responsibilities

Perform export classification for tangible and intangible items including software and technology
Gather technical data and prepare export classification determinations
Interpret and apply U.S. and global export control regulations
Collaborate with engineering and program teams to evaluate technical characteristics
Assign appropriate export classifications across the product lifecycle
Review export transactions for regulatory compliance
Support compliance metrics reporting and documentation
Utilize trade compliance tools and internal systems for screening and classification

Required

Proven hands on experience with export classification
Working knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations
Experience with Wassenaar Arrangement regulations including Categories 3 4 and 5 Part I and II
Bachelors degree with at least five years of export compliance sanctions compliance or international trade experience
Minimum two years of direct experience in international trade or compliance focused roles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Proficiency with Enterprise tools or MS Office including Outlook and SharePoint
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred

Experience with electronics software encryption or advanced technology exports
Familiarity with ECCNs CCATS licensing determinations and encryption controls
Exposure to ERP system or PLM platforms
Experience working in regulated global technology environments
