Responsibilities
Outreach to adults recently discharged from hospital or emergency room to support their transition-home needs (psychiatric and medical), build rapport, provide support, connect to resources, and engage in care
Completing intake sessions with new clients
Observing initial mental health assessments and participate in re-assessments
Completing documentation regarding service activities and client contacts
Meeting with clients in community settings or supported housing environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University in Psychology, Social Work, or closely related discipline required
Must be in an accredited graduate program and in a Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling program, or closely related discipline
Must have basic computer and keyboarding skills
Interns will be placed within a mental health program serving adults
Interns are required to intern a minimum of twenty hours per week
