Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end social strategy and execution for a flagship retail client
Weekly on-site shoots (celebrity events, pop-ups, store openings, restaurants etc.)
Develop content ideas, storyboards, and creative concepts tailored to Instagram and TikTok
Capture and edit short-form video and photo content in line with trends and client goals
Manage day-to-day client communications and provide trusted strategic guidance
Oversee internal timelines, shoot planning, content calendars, and approval workflows
Ensure all assets meet brand standards and are ready for client delivery
Review and interpret analytics to drive performance insights and content optimization
Stay current on trends in retail, beauty, and culture to inform your work
Collaborate closely with creative teammates (editors, designers, producers)
Support and mentor junior team members
Qualification
Required
5 to 7 years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital marketing
Proven ability to both lead accounts and execute social-first content at a high level
Strong creative instincts, with an eye for what performs and how to tell a compelling story
Experience filming, editing, and producing content across platforms (on iPhone)
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines
Strong writing skills and familiarity with platform best practices
Proficiency in content editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva)
Knowledge of project management tools like Asana, Google Workspace, and Slack
Based in Los Angeles and available for weekly shoots and client touchpoints
Preferred
Expertise in the retail, beauty, or lifestyle sectors preferred
Agency experience highly regarded
