They are seeking an Emergency Room Technician to assist in delivering care, promote good public relations, and ensure compliance with hospital policies while managing patient needs in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

Provides courteous service to our patients, visitors, staff, physicians, and other internal/external customers

Accepts or responds to change in a manner that promotes and supports departmental/hospital goals and objectives

Responds to the needs of the department by accepting additional assignments and or assisting others to ensure the continuity of services

Maintains the desk as needed which includes order entry, charges, ordering supplies, and telephone etiquette

Transport patients, lab specimens and other as assigned

Follows established emergency, infection control and or universal precautions procedure as required

Promptly responds to the needs of the patients

Demonstrates the ability to manage patients of all ages or patients with special need

Other duties as assigned

Understands and adheres to Loretto Hospital’s compliance standards as they appear in the Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy

Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Hospital regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified
