Responsibilities
Lead complex operations, including cross-crop/functional and multidisciplinary operations by collaborating with all aspects of the business to ensure site and Bayer business success
Accountable for overall Site culture, safety, quality, compliance, customer experience, community engagement, and financial performance
Promote a safety-first culture at all times and ensure compliance with safety, quality, sustainability, environmental, and license-to-operate requirements
Create a Site culture that encourages employees to bring their authentic selves and a creative mindset to work every day, inspiring the development, exploration, and execution of creative ideas in rapid cycles
Empower, support, and create accountability within the Unit, Mission Team, and Squad to focus on and contribute to delivering defined outcomes for all product, customer, and stakeholder needs
Foster collaboration in a flat network of autonomous, entrepreneurial teams with limited management support, while aligning the site with stakeholders and customers to ensure the missions and outcomes of Bayer and customers are achieved
Ensure capabilities, mindsets & skillsets are developed for all site personnel to enhance the customer experience
Influence across the NA RCP network, stakeholders, NA Product Supply and Commercial leadership to achieve site, network, business, product and customer strategies and successes
Responsible and accountable for Site Profit and Loss (P&L), including revenue, COGM, and COGS, and for managing the planning and execution of capital and expense projects
Effectively monitors and delivers production efficiency to provide cost-competitive services to Bayer Crop Science customers by providing leadership in onePSS efforts to drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify key cost levers
Define and track KPIs and metrics needed to reliably deliver site objectives and outcomes
Accountable for the timely delivery of quality supply in line with production schedules while maintaining efficient operations and meeting customer expectations
Safeguard operations from external distractions by leveraging support from off-site Mission Teams, while generating value through resource and talent allocation to enhance efficiency, eliminate waste, and support critical mission and process improvement objectives
Serve as the primary liaison and Bayer representative within the community where the Site resides
Generate holistic impact for stakeholders, with mindset of possibility
Be constantly clear about the vision and the goals of your team and maximize value for all stakeholders (Customers)
Co-create new value through reimagining, with a mindset of abundance

Helps design and align on strategies as needed

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Valid Driver's license and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle (driving record must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening)
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons or when business needs require it
Leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or the agriculture industry
Skilled at leading, managing conflict, and negotiating with cross-functional teams
Demonstration of courage, candor, and initiative in past assignments
Ability to empower and foster an environment of accountability
Experience in lean manufacturing systems
Capable of effectively influencing without authority, with a broad range of stakeholders
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, engineering disciplines, Supply Chain Management, Business, or similar degree, and a minimum of 15 years of applicable experience
High School Diploma and 20 years of applicable experience
7+ years of experience influencing and developing large teams
Breadth of perspective on the Bayer Crop Science Business overall
