The Video & Photography Production and Audio-Visual Media Specialist is responsible for leading multimedia content creation and managing audio-visual technology for various events, ensuring high-quality video content production and effective communication across platforms.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit short- and long-form videos for internal and external audiences, including documentaries, promotional spots, training modules, and social media content and reels
Operate multi-camera systems, drones, 360º cameras, professional lighting, and audio equipment for studio and field productions
Capture professional-quality photos for events, marketing campaigns, publications, and social media
Manage studio and on-location photo shoots, including lighting, composition, and editing
Edit, retouch, and optimize images for print, digital, and web use
Edit content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve), incorporating motion graphics, closed captions, and accessibility features
Optimize video content for multiple platforms (web, social, broadcast, OTT streaming) to ensure correct aspect ratios, compression, and metadata
Manage AV support for live, hybrid, and virtual events, including town halls, summits, trainings, and press conferences
Set up and operate equipment for live streaming, webinars, and virtual conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.), integrating professional video and audio feeds
Coordinate with vendors for large-scale productions, staging, or special AV needs
Provide technical training and guidance to staff on presentation tools and AV best practices
Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade studio and AV equipment, ensuring readiness for rapid deployment
Recommend and implement emerging AV and streaming technologies to keep GWH at the forefront of communication trends
Manage asset library, media archives, and backups
Work with PR and marketing to ensure all visual media aligns with brand standards and strategic messaging
Partner with Goodwill locations to produce collaborative multimedia projects showcasing impact stories
Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility in all digital content
Anticipate, test, and integrate new tools and trends in media production, including AI-Assisted Editing & Content Creation, Augmented & Virtual Reality Storytelling, Cloud-Based Production Pipelines, Live Interactive Streaming, Advanced Accessibility Standards, Short-Form Vertical Video Mastery, and Data-Driven Content Optimization
Demonstrate professionalism and good judgment and present a friendly, cooperative attitude
Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions, adapt to change, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Demonstrate problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for multiple sector stakeholders to work together

Must be punctual and have dependable attendance, and maintain an appropriate appearance
Flexible schedule on evenings and weekends as needed

Required

A bachelor's degree in media production, Film, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in video production, multimedia storytelling, and AV event management
Proven expertise in editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and live streaming tools (OBS, vMix, Wirecast)
Strong understanding of lighting, audio mixing, and cinematography techniques
Experience producing content for diverse audiences and digital platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sharp attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have reliable transportation

Preferred

Drone pilot certification (FAA Part 107) is preferred
Experience with 3D animation, augmented reality (AR), or virtual reality (VR) is preferred
Knowledge of various analytic tools to measure video performance and audience engagement is preferred
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
