Quality Technician
RB Royal Industries, Inc. is a family-owned manufacturing company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Quality Technician. In this role, you will perform regular product evaluations, assist in production part approval processes, and recommend improvements to the production process using appropriate analysis tools.

Responsibilities
Must have ability to use manual gauges, read and interpret blueprints, drawings and geometric dimensions to assure parts meet customer specification
Inspect products during the manufacturing process for flaws or defects
Verifies accuracy in regards to raw material specifications
Audits rework orders for conformance to requirements
Have experience with CMM measuring techniques & Faro arm (preferred)
Assist in the training of new and current employees on quality procedures and requirements
Ensure production processes are being followed
Performs plant-wide quality documents audits to ISO standards to ensure proper quality procedures and paperwork are being followed and documented correctly
Appropriately instruct operators on ISO requirements and how what they do relates to the requirements
Maintains calibration system on all measurement equipment, purchases gauging and makes repairs to existing gauging as needed
Capable of doing gage R & R (repeatability and reproducibility) studies (preferred)
Maintains a clean and orderly quality lab and ensure that all measuring equipment is functioning properly both company and employee owned
Properly fills out all required documents for all jobs, quality systems
Assists QE with internal and external Part Approval Process (PAP) and presents results
Initiates rework, NCMR and hold procedures as needed
Assist with Receiving Inspections, such as purchased components, parts returned from an outside service, or RGA’s, as needed
Performs capability studies for new processes as well as problem processes, interprets information and provides feedback to operators and others in report format as needed
Qualification

Associate degree in a quality related field or three years of experience in a quality assurance department in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in the use of gages (micrometers, calipers, Johnson gauges, thread ring and plug, depth micrometer, height gage, CMM, Faro Arm, optical comparator and chamfer check); blue print reading; plating; and quality concepts
Knowledge of current quality initiatives in industry such as Lean and ISO
Personal management skills such as time management (prioritize multiple demands, adapt to change, meet deadlines), problem solving
Computer usage including Word, Excel, Access, or comparable packages
Capable of lifting 50 lbs
Preferred
Have experience with CMM measuring techniques & Faro arm
