Responsibilities

To provide secretarial services and administrative support to designated senior executives as assigned
To perform all duties in a professional manner, emphasizing discretion and confidentiality
The ability to communicate with visitors, patients, physicians, co-workers, and health System Management in a professional, courteous, friendly, caring, manner in keeping with the established values of Mercy
In addition, this individual should be a self-starter, able to accomplish assigned task efficiently and effectively, working independently, using initiative and making decisions where appropriate
Performs related duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience and work background of providing clerical support to executive or management staff personnel
Must possess excellent secretarial and communication skills and the ability to schedule and organize workflow efficiently
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Schedule+, and other applicable software programs
Typing requirement of 60+ wpm
Needs to possess the ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently with minimal direction and takes initiative in making decisions where applicable
