Responsibilities

Evaluate and measure process performance
Identify root causes of poor process performance
Prove the causes
Develop countermeasures to mitigate causes
Implement mitigating actions in a timely manner
Check if the mitigations worked
Standardize the improvements

Qualification

Industrial EngineeringManufacturing EngineeringMechanical EngineeringProcess ImprovementRoot Cause Analysis

Required

Completion of 2 or more years with selected major in Industrial or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to manipulate mechanical assemblies and objects of 25 lbs; Mobility to be able to investigate and observe shop floor activities

Preferred

Graduation date of December 2026 or later
Desired Major(s): Industrial or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
