Logistics Clerk (Tool Crib Operator)

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for coordinating the movement of materials, ensuring accuracy in shipments, maintaining records, and conducting inspections to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Work with relevant departments to manage and organize inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment of supplies

Maintain records related to receipts, movements, and kitting of materials for consumption

Arrange for the distribution of materials upon arrival, including processing receipts, recording inductions into SAP, notifying material inspectors, managing put-aways, and updating inventory records

Conduct visual inspections to ensure material receipts meet approved physical standards and that accompanying paperwork is accurate and compliant with customer requirements and specifications

Maintain records of equipment movements, ensuring accurate documentation for inventory control

Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and reach) and other equipment to move materials and equipment within the premises

Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth transfer of goods, delivering them timely and accurately to designated areas

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift heavy objects, both individually and as part of a team, and perform physically demanding tasks

Must be able to obtain a forklift certification

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Experience in shipping and receiving, safety protocols, organization, and equipment operation

Experience with SAP
