Responsibilities
Provides academic leadership for students to enhance their learning and promote academic success and retention at Georgetown University through classroom instruction, curricular design, pedagogy and academic advising
Provides curricular direction for the writing component of the university’s premier and only academic bridge program for first-generation students and/or students of color
Collaborates closely with Department of English and Writing program to select and supervise teaching assistants as well as recruit and train faculty to teach in the program
Qualification
Required
PhD or other terminal degree - preference for Composition and Rhetoric, English, or a related field
Teaching, research, and programming expertise relating to first-generation students and students of color
