Sales Development Representative

Standard Metrics is an automated financial collaboration platform that helps investors and founders to move faster together and make better, forward-facing decisions. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, conducting high-level conversations with key stakeholders, and collaborating with Account Executives to drive growth.

Responsibilities

Build and execute outbound sales development plan to generate new business opportunities and conduct high-level conversations with key stakeholders in venture capital prospect accounts to fuel our growth
Write tailored messages and cold call qualified prospects
Collaborate closely with Account Executives to create and prioritize target account lists and book qualified meetings
Be the first point of contact handling all incoming customer enquiries
Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in our CRM
Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts
Set meetings & demos between prospective clients and Standard Metrics Account Executives
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Qualification

Required

2+ years of progressive SaaS software sales development experience
Experience using prospecting tools (Salesforce, Apollo, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, etc)
Strong networker, connecting with prospects even when outside of sales-motion fostering deep relationships
Excellent sleuthing, creativity, communication, and writing skills
Track record of achieving and/or exceeding quotas

Preferred

Experience with Private Markets firms, Venture Capital or Private Equity is a plus
