Responsibilities
Align business objectives with associates and management within assigned areas
Consult with line-management, legal, compensation, and recruitment, providing daily HR guidance
Act as an employee champion and change agent
Assess and anticipate HR-related needs
Communicate proactively with the HR department and business management to develop integrated solutions
Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization
Maintain an effective level of business literacy, legal regulations, and compliance regarding company operations
Maintain knowledge of the mid-range plans, culture, and competition
Qualification
Required
Minimum two (2) years professional Human Resources experience
Analytical and goal oriented
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
Skill consulting and coaching leadership
Knowledge of all Human Resources functions
Skilled with resolving conflicts
Ability to analyze HR data to provide valuable insights
Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary for the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access; operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction
Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail
Human Resources Information Systems Experience
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel)
Excellent people management skills
Analytical skills including statistical analysis, and financial modeling
Strong interpersonal skills
Must have attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and be flexible with changing priorities
Preferred
Prefers two years healthcare experience
Previous experience as a HRBP
Master's Degree in related field
Preferred knowledge of Workday HRIS system
SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification
California Driver's License may be required based on assigned client groups
