Stepful is reimagining allied healthcare training by offering affordable, online, instructor-led, and AI-supported programs. They are seeking an experienced Dental Assisting Instructor to support the launch and ongoing development of their Dental Assistant program, focusing on delivering high-quality online instruction and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

Teach highly-engaging live classes over Zoom four times a week, Monday - Thursday from 7:30pm - 9:00pm ET
Grade student projects and provide feedback as necessary
Communicate regularly with students over email and other community tools
Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful
Provide ongoing support, trouble-shoot issues, prepare and plan for future modules, as needed

Qualification

Required

DANB certification with up-to-date knowledge of DANB standards, especially the RHS exam
2+ years experience online teaching Dental Assisting, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising
2+ years experience working as a Dental Assistant
Strong communication skills, tech-savvy, and comfortable using LMS platforms
Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and career-driven healthcare education
Ability to work 10 hours per week per class taught (Monday to Friday)

Preferred

Bachelor's or Associates degree in related healthcare field (preferred), or 7+ years of Dental Assisting experience
