Technical Engagement Lead | Growth and Transformation

Responsibilities
Lead development of innovative, scalable marketing technology solutions that measurably transform our clients' digital capabilities
Plan and present transformational work to executives through the lens of business value and operational cost
Directly manage and mentor a team of engineering leaders to broaden their skills, increase their day-to-day effectiveness, and ultimately grow their careers
Build and maintain relationships with client technology leaders to help transform their technology
Collaborate closely with data teams and manage the intersection of engineering and data
Make both technical and non-technical decisions and ensure that organizational policies and procedures are implemented and enforced
Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevOps methodology, and data-driven decision making
Define, track, and present on meaningful KPIs that demonstrate technology's impact on business outcomes
Drive a culture of experimentation and continuous learning, encouraging technical innovation that solves complex client challenges
Qualification
Required
This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp
This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC OR New York, NY office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week

You'll work closely with business stakeholders to plan and drive innovative marketing solutions
You'll define strategy and create processes to scale the impact of your teams, while working closely with the client
You possess the capability to push your team's abilities in growing them individually and as a unit, while also remaining hands on yourself in determining the architecture and tools to be used in development

Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify opportunities, communicate with executives and advocate for change
Strong communication skills. Experience working with technical and non-technical clients both remotely and in person
Experience with Digital Marketing Technologies (CDP, Experience Optimization, Email, Analytics, etc.)
Experience leading front-end and back-end engineering teams and playing a role in evolving processes and workflows
Familiarity with public cloud offerings such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional delivery teams
Experience with general software design and architecture so that you can guide teams to the right solutions, while avoiding common pitfalls
Personal commitment to being great people to work with and for every day
Preferred
Experience with data engineering and data warehouse technologies
Experience with architectural design, creating diagrams and communicating with stakeholders
Experience managing remote teams
Experience with test driven workflows to ensure high quality and continuous integration of software
