Product Support Operations Manager (Retrofit, Repair, Mod & Maintenance)

Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking a C-17 Product Support Operations Manager for Recovery and Modifications Services to support the efforts at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington. The role involves on-site leadership, oversight of modification service coordinators, and acting as a customer point of contact for Boeing RAMS-BLOS Speedline support.

Responsibilities

On-site leadership in support of problem identification and resolution to support the Operational and Logistics Wing Customers, at both JBLM and JBC while representing all needs for new speedline/modification work scope
Provide oversight of mod service coordinators, structural and avionics technicians, and quality inspectors
Responsible for leadership and oversight for visiting personnel in the sustainment of the C-17 Weapon System, and providing a customer point of contact for Boeing RAMS-BLOS Speedline support onsite at JBLM and at JBC
Sufficient Leadership experience to effectively interface with internal/external customers, companies/teams, and community leaders at all levels
Demonstrate Customer Focus/Relationships skills
Proven track record of teambuilding/employee engagement
Experience in developing and negotiating creative solutions
Ability to work independently under time constraints and stress in a military environment
Experience in supporting aircraft in a fast-paced sortie generation environment during peacetime and capacity to support contingency surge operations
Excellent communication skills

Required

3+ years of experience do you have in leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
10+ years' experience operating in an aviation maintenance and modifications work environment
Sufficient Leadership experience to effectively interface with internal/external customers, companies/teams, and community leaders at all levels
Demonstrate Customer Focus/Relationships skills
Proven track record of teambuilding/employee engagement
Experience in developing and negotiating creative solutions
Ability to work independently under time constraints and stress in a military environment

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
