Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a contract position in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure while implementing automation and ensuring security compliance.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, and security services
Configure and maintain advanced networking solutions such as AWS Transit Gateway and Direct Connect for hybrid connectivity
Implement observability and monitoring using CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for proactive alerting and telemetry
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting (Python/Bash)
Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh for traffic management and security
Ensure security compliance through patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native and containerized environments

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred
