The role involves managing and overseeing electrical systems, updating and upgrading these systems, and providing training for technicians on current and future electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Assist with programming enhancements on the plant’s electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner

Assist in debugging the plant’s electrical systems. Work to determine the root cause of electrical failures and develop/implement solutions to stop the recurrence

Plan electrical equipment outages and upgrades. Assist maintenance service providers and contractors during these plans

Conduct training for technicians on current and future electrical systems installed at the plant

Other duties as assigned

Required

Experience with troubleshooting electrical control systems

Willing to work for a 24/7 operation

Associate's degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience working with electrical systems

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

3 years of control systems and PLC's experience

PLC troubleshooting experience, especially with Siemens S7-1500, IBA Data Collection, Rockwell Contrologix, and GE Control Systems
