New Grad, Entry LevelIEH Laboratories and Consulting Group is a leader in food safety, currently seeking a Microbiology Analyst for their 2nd shift. The role involves analyzing food samples for pathogens, performing various microbiological tests, and ensuring quality control in the laboratory.

Responsibilities
Analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay
Various microbe enumerations
Compositing and plating samples using aseptic technique
Data entry
Laboratory reporting
Quality control
Media preparation
Dish washing
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
An associate degree (required)
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
Preferred
a BS or BA in the Microbiology or related field (preferred)
