New Grad, Entry LevelLegacy Cooperative is seeking a Fertilizer Technician to join their agronomy division in Alliance, Nebraska. The role involves safely transporting bulk fertilizer materials, assisting the Agronomy Team, and adhering to transportation regulations while maintaining a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Operate a commercial truck to transport bulk fertilizer materials to various locations
Safely load and unload fertilizer products using appropriate equipment and following established procedures
Operate forklift to assist in loading and unloading products
Perform general maintenance on fertilizer equipment and complete improvements needed on fertilizer facilities
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service in compliance with state and federal regulations
Follows all governmental and safety regulations concerning the handling of fertilizer and agricultural chemicals
Assist with taking inventory, stocking equipment parts and general housekeeping in shop, warehouse and plant facilities
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the truck cab and in the cargo area
Assist customers with loading chemical fertilizer, etc
All other duties assigned by division, location, or operations manager
Qualification
Required
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., tanker endorsement) required
Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in the transportation of bulk materials
Clean driving record with no serious violations or accidents in the past three years
Knowledge of applicable transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed
Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification may be required, depending on the nature of the materials transported
