Black Rocket Productions is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as Assistant Instructors in their Summer STEM programs. The role involves working with children ages 6-14, providing education in various STEM fields while fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Work with kids ages 6-14 in an educational setting

Assist in teaching STEM programs including coding, digital arts, and game development

Participate in paid training prior to the summer program

Engage students in hands-on learning experiences

Encourage creativity and critical thinking among students

Provide a fun and safe learning environment for students

Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation

Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship

Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday

Must love working with kids!

18 years of age or older

Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus, such as babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc

Those with strong tech or digital arts and troubleshooting skills will be most successful in this position

Preferred

Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required

Strong science or baking background with familiarity in experimentation, the scientific method, engineering concepts, creative thinking, and/or baking

College students studying education, culinary arts, biology, chemistry, engineering, or other STEM related fields encouraged to apply

College students studying education, computer science, digital arts, information technology, or in similar fields are encouraged to apply
