Patient Coordinator/ Receptionist

Responsibilities
Manage front desk, greet clients, and manage office supplies
Confirm coverage details including deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance amounts
Provide excellent customer service by answering patient questions about their insurance and benefits
Implement a screening and triage process to assist potential clients in determining the necessary services
Answering, returning, scheduling client calls
Schedule follow up and intake appointments as needed
The ability to add, update, edit scheduling services
Ability to complete all data entry for pre-admission including identifying information, the reason for referral, relevant history, and payor type information
Identify emergent or complex cases and seek clinical review, as needed, prior to finalizing the patient's appointment
Maintains confidentiality of all clinical and administrative information consistent with agency policy
Maintaining a working relationship with managerial, administrative, and clinical staff to assure efficiency in the day-to-day responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2+ years of experience in front office work preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs and have excellent data entry skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette
Ability to maintain confidential records
Prolonged periods of sitting at an office desk on the computer
Lifting: Able to lift up to 15lbs
Preferred
Minimum 2+ years of experience in front office work preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
