Human Resources Coordinator

Fortvita Biologics is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR department's daily operations, focusing on talent acquisition and general HR administration. The role involves coordinating interview schedules, assisting with onboarding, and supporting various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for interview scheduling, coordinating complex calendars for candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels across multiple departments and time zones
Assist with the coordination of new hire onboarding and orientation programs, helping new employees integrate smoothly into the company culture
Provide support in benefits administration tasks, such as processing enrollment changes and assisting with the annual open enrollment process
Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to support specific departmental or regional HR needs, including pulling reports, preparing presentation materials, and assisting with performance management documentation
Assist on various HR projects as needed, which may include initiatives related to process improvements, data audits, employee engagement programs, or new system implementations
Support the planning and logistics for HR events, such as company meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required
A minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting an HR function (e.g., HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, or as an HR Assistant/Coordinator)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential
Experience using an HRIS (Human Resource Information System) is strongly preferred

Exceptional organizational skills and an innate attention to detail are critical for managing the high volume of scheduling and data entry inherent in this position
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset, are necessary for interacting with candidates and employees at all levels
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving administrative issues and the ability to work collaboratively to find solutions
The ability to exercise sound judgment and handle highly sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion is paramount
The capacity to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, environment
