Black Rocket Productions provides unique educational programs to children and young adults, focusing on creativity and technology. They are seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as Assistant Instructors in their Summer STEM programs, engaging children aged 6-14 in fun and educational activities.

Responsibilities

In-room with kids ages 6-14

Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun with STEM & Baking!

Available to start online training in May prior to the start of summer (train at your own pace via our online portal)

Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday

Teach exciting classes like Minecraft, video game creation, movie making, animation, robotics, 3D modeling, STEM, leadership, cooking and MORE!

Gain Valuable Experience: Build your resume while having a ton of fun this summer! Rocketeers have gone on to work in academia, animation and game studios, and distinguished organizations like the Department of Defense, NASA, the IRS and FAANG companies

Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation

Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship

Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday

Must love working with kids!

18 years of age or older

College students studying education, culinary arts, biology, chemistry, engineering, or other STEM related fields encouraged to apply

Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus, such as babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc

Those with strong tech or digital arts and troubleshooting skills will be most successful in this position

Preferred

Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required

Strong science or baking background with familiarity in experimentation, the scientific method, engineering concepts, creative thinking, and/or baking
