Responsibilities
Performing business analysis, defining and documenting requirements, and driving delivery in coordination with the product owner, senior business analyst, IT team, and users
Translating and simplifying requirements for optimizing execution and outcomes
Authoring well-elaborated user stories and detailed acceptance criteria that capture typical and alternate scenarios as well as exception events/handling for both business and technical audiences
Gaining deep understanding of current and future product features and functions
Contributing to maintaining an environment where continuous improvement of the development process is in focus and where everyone’s common goal is to deliver outstanding software as fast as possible
Performing GAP analysis to determine if business requirements are being met
Creating business process workflows and any other artifacts required as needed
Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Qualification
Required
BA or BS Degree
Five (5) or more years' experience in business analysis
Five (5) or more years' experience as part of a software development team (project and client management skills are critical and required)
Demonstrated experience with full software product life cycles, including specifications and design
High-level experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with strict deadlines
Preferred
P&C insurance experience
Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification
