The Manufacturing Process Engineer will support manufacturing operations by applying root cause analysis and leading continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with various teams to enhance workflow efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, tooling, and workflow efficiency
Investigate and resolve scrap, cycle time, and process variability issues
Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to improve reliability and efficiency of current equipment
Develop and refine standard process procedures to ensure high quality and process repeatability
Lead and manage process improvement projects and transfer to manufacturing activities
Provide technical input on tool/equipment design, tooling specifications, and manufacturing feasibility
Oversee and document tooling/equipment trials, process validations, and process optimization
Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively address risks or delays
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project status, risks, and deliverables
Manage vendor quotation process – request, review, and compare supplier offers to ensure cost competitiveness and technical compliance
Assist with tooling reviews and design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software
Support cost estimation, budgeting, and resource planning for projects

Required

Experience in manufacturing process engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis
Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Experience with tooling and equipment design
Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software
Ability to develop and refine standard process procedures
Experience in managing vendor quotation processes
