Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the project team to ensure they complete tasks and meet project goals
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, resource, and risk management
Develop and maintain project schedules, define dependencies, track progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion of the project
Establish comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change logs
Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage risk throughout the project
Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project, including conflicts, resource constraints, and technical challenges
Ensure that any changes to project scope are controlled and documented
Support strategic leadership in aligning processes across functions to ensure smooth and ease of execution
Identify resources and ensure they are actively participating in project deliverables
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including program manager, team members, and executives
Ensure that stakeholders are kept informed about project progress, changes, and issues
Promote and apply continuous improvement practices by identifying and implementing process improvements throughout the project and ensuring post-project reviews are conducted
Manages all aspects of the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive result
Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
Constructs contractual arrangements for project development
Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Project Manager, especially in M&A, acquisition integration and migration projects required
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and direct a team
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
High School Grad/GED
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 3+ years
Preferred
Experience in retail energy (gas and power)
PMP certification
