Strategic Planning: Shape the development and implementation of the organization’s 2026+ growth strategy
Governance & Oversight: Participate in monthly board meetings and committee sessions, providing fiduciary oversight and ensuring ethical governance
Fundraising & Development: Actively identify and secure financial resources, including donor cultivation and participation in signature events like the annual Karen P. Brown Relief Golf Tournament and canSURVIVE
Ambassadorship: Act as a primary advocate for Needs Beyond Medicine, leveraging your professional network to increase our reach and impact
Program Support: Provide high-level guidance for our Relief Program and educational seminars
Qualification
Required
Mission-Driven: A deep commitment to supporting cancer patients and an understanding of the 'hidden costs' of diagnosis
Resource Development: A proven ability to engage donors and sponsors; comfortable with 'the ask.'
Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze financial statements and organizational health to drive long-term sustainability
