Mid LevelCloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet and is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Data Analytics & Intelligence team in Austin, TX. The role involves building data application tools and frameworks, working closely with Data Engineers, and designing features that address critical business problems.

Responsibilities
Design and implement key features of our internal applications
Work closely with a cross functional team to design features and solutions that solve critical business problems
Contribute in improving an evolving platform architecture for scalability, observability and reliability
Continuously involved in knowledge sharing and mentorship
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields
Experience working with Go, Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages
Knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
Experience with CI/CD, Gitlab CI
Excellent communication & problem solving skills
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and work through ambiguous business requirements
Preferred
Familiarity with container based deployments such as Docker & Kubernetes
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or something similar
Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, and React
