Senior Program Manager
EDMO is a thriving educational nonprofit that has been inspiring and empowering young minds since 2004. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of EDMO programs, ensuring program excellence and alignment with the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities
Perform all duties of a Program Manager at their assigned program location
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and impact
Develop and implement strategic plans to execute agreed upon terms of contract between EDMO and Partner District
Provide visionary leadership to ensure the Partnership agreement is fulfilled in an above satisfactory way
Responsible for consistency and quality of program delivery across all sites assigned to their management
Align regional activities with contract terms between EDMO and District Partner
Supervise, mentor, and support other Program Managers, providing guidance, resolving challenges and assisting with program planning to ensure implementation of agreed upon contract between EDMO and Partner
Manage regional budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and within contractual agreement between EDOM and Partner
Manages site budget and ensures all line items are within agreed upon budget. Creates bi-weekly touchpoints to reconcile actuals with agreed upon budget. This includes flex budget (site specific supplies), all payroll expenses and when applicable staff appreciation and professional development
Ensures payroll is on budget based on the agreements between EDMO and District Partners. Oversees payroll and ensures timesheets are accurate and overtime is under budget
Conduct performance reviews and evaluations for site staff and Program Managers under their management
Collaborate with the Recruiting team to recruit, hire, and train effective program staff
Facilitate professional development opportunities and in-season meetings for all regional program staff
Ensure all programs adhere to EDMO’s policies, procedures, and standards, including safety and security
Oversee the management of program operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency
Oversee the planning and implementation of program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with agreed upon terms between EDMO and Partner
Ensure other sites within their management follow all standards for relationships with all contacts at their locations
Foster a positive program environment that supports the well-being and growth of all staff, children, and parents
Develop and implement systems for tracking and reporting on program performance and impact
Implement a continuous improvement framework, using data and feedback to refine and enhance programs
Encourage and support creative solutions to program challenges and opportunities
Represent EDMO at community events and meetings to promote the organization and its programs
Perform other duties as assigned to support the success and continuous improvement of the program
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within educational or youth-focused programs
Strong strategic planning and organizational development skills
Extensive experience in program development, management, and evaluation
Proven experience in hiring, coaching and managing a team of employees
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of staff
Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
Strong communication skills, especially in interactions with parents and via computer (emails, slack to other EDMO staff, etc)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
High sense of responsibility and dependability
Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in program design and delivery
Passion for education and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization
Experience in facilitating groups of children and proven classroom management
CPR/First Aid Certification is required by the start date. Certification must include an in-person CPR component
Ability to read small print and view a computer screen for prolonged periods
Ability to tolerate exposure to noisy conditions
Ability to be understood in face-to-face communications, to speak with a level of proficiency and volume to be understood over a telephone or computer
Ability to use hands to grasp, and manipulate small objects; manipulate fingers, twist and bend at wrist and elbow; extend arms to reach outward and upward; use hands and arms to lift objects; turn, raise, and lower head
Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects which weigh up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Ability to encounter constant work interruptions; work cooperatively with others; work independently; work indoors and outdoors
Ability to read, write, understand, interpret and apply information at a moderately complex level essential for successful job performance; math skills at a high school proficiency level; judgment and the ability to process information quickly; learn quickly and follow verbal procedures and standards; give verbal instruction; rank tasks in order of importance; copy, compare, compile and coordinate information and records
Preferred
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in education, child development, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred
