Membership, Impact and Industry Intern, Summer 2026 (Gold Rising)

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is seeking a Membership, Impact and Industry Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will support various departments and assist in administrative tasks to ensure ongoing projects are on track, while contributing to the Academy's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

Support all activities of the Academy’s Member Relations, Awards and Global Outreach department
Provide support to the Manager, Membership, Impact and Industry, and senior leaders, including researching, assisting in preparing presentations, and other administrative duties
Assist in supporting the Membership and Awards Admin programs, including helping organize and plan group events in both Los Angeles and other cities, maintaining program documentation and materials
Collaborate with multiple Academy departments and maintain a high level of confidentiality for sensitive information and materials
Other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Community college, trade school, and university undergraduate (juniors, seniors) or graduate students from the class of 2024 and 2026 in good academic standing
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Exhibit a strong interest in the motion picture industry
Excellent verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to take direction and work well with others
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Ability to work discreetly and professionally with high-level executives, talent, and the Board of Governors; work professionally and gracefully with Academy members and the public
Night and weekend work may be required and may be assigned on short notice
Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required, including any booster vaccinations as applicable
