Co-Director of Practice Solutions

Primis is a financial institution seeking a Co-Director of Practice Solutions to manage and lead a Healthcare Practice Group commercial lending sales team. The role involves overseeing sales activities, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance while driving business growth and team performance.

Responsibilities

Responsible for recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, and retention
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of commercial loan officers and business development officers
Develop individual professional development and team performance plans with measurable goals, aligned with company objectives
Develop and implement motivating incentive plans that support goal attainment and team member retention
Foster a results-oriented and client-focused culture
Conduct regular and annual performance reviews; hold team members accountable for meeting performance and behavior expectations
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow the commercial loan portfolio
Identify target markets, industries, and geographic territories for expansion
Set monthly, quarterly, and annual loan origination, deposit growth, and cross sales goals
Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns and outreach strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, referral sources, and community partners
Identify and pursue new lending opportunities with doctors and practice owners
Represent the institution at networking events, industry conferences, and community functions
Support, enhance and develop network of professional vendors, and professional centers of influence/referral partners with team members
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Negotiate terms and pricing of credit facilities with prospects and customers
Minimize credit portfolio risk by proactively managing assigned commercial loan portfolio. This includes assigning appropriate risk grades, ensuring proper documentation, timely receipt and analysis of financial information, annual credit reviews, and developing and implementing timely action strategies to mitigate risk
Stay abreast of industry trends; establish and maintain strong industry relationships
Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, SAR, CTR, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, EEO, and fair employment practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
Successful work history in commercial lending preferably in the medical field
Previous management experience
Advanced knowledge of bank policies, procedures and products
Effective and professional verbal and written communications
Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to develop and maintain business relationships
Strong research skills
Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry including regulations and policies
Ability to build, maintain and inspire effective teams that produce quality work results
Proven leadership skills
