Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounting team, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies
Partner with FP&A, operations, and executive leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making
Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy
Manage Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) accounting, ensuring accurate tracking and revenue recognition
Develop and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a management or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
Preferred
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
