Responsibilities

Oversee risk management and risk assessment processes for assigned SP(s), including conducting and documenting comprehensive operational and strategic risk assessments to recognize and address areas of elevated risk
Oversee the issue management process for assigned SP(s), including identification, classification, prioritization, tracking, escalation, remediation, closure, and reporting of issues, as well as regular communication and follow-up with SP(s) to drive ongoing oversight activities
Manage the site visit process for assigned SP(s), including establishing risk-based key objectives for each site visit, creating a site visit agenda, requesting all pre-visit items, facilitating the overall flow and engagement of the visit as necessary, and completing and presenting site visit reports
Oversee the Complaint Management process for assigned SP(s), including monitoring complaints received by the SP, conducting a monthly complaint analysis, identifying and reporting any ongoing or emerging risks, and using complaint data to inform ongoing oversight strategies
Provide ongoing review and approval of SP program materials (e.g., SP policies, marketing materials, credit policy, etc.)
Manage the relationship with the assigned SP(s) by holding regular SP updates to discuss program requirements and deliverables, developing and building relationships with individual stakeholders as appropriate, clearly and accurately communicating Bank requirements, providing accurate and timely feedback on SP requests, and identifying and appropriately managing any challenges to the relationship
Support Credit in the management of the credit policy change request approval process, which includes reviewing and providing approval for the SP Department
Assist the New Products team in launching new products by helping SPs understand requirements for launch, documenting the key risks associated with prospective SPs, and communicating and collaborating across internal functions to ensure a smooth launch
Assist with regulatory exams and internal audits as needed
Drafting of memos and presenting to the appropriate Bank committee as applicable on behalf of SPs
Interact cross-functionally to address SP issues, SP program changes, incident management, complaint management, and audits
Work closely with the assigned Compliance Manager for ongoing oversight, program and product testing, reviews, and monitoring of the SP
Hold SP accountable to defined contractual requirements as well as oversee the contract extension process
Work with Outside Counsel to review and approve all required SP Program material, including policies, procedures, and customer-facing documentation

Required

Experience in risk management and risk assessment processes
Ability to conduct and document comprehensive operational and strategic risk assessments
Experience in issue management processes including identification, classification, prioritization, tracking, escalation, remediation, closure, and reporting of issues
Experience managing site visit processes including establishing risk-based key objectives, creating agendas, and facilitating visits
Experience in Complaint Management processes including monitoring complaints, conducting analysis, and identifying risks
Ability to review and approve program materials such as policies and marketing materials
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to hold regular updates and communicate Bank requirements
Experience supporting credit policy change request approval processes
Ability to assist in launching new products and documenting key risks
Experience assisting with regulatory exams and internal audits
Strong drafting skills for memos and presentations to Bank committees
Ability to interact cross-functionally to address SP issues and program changes
Experience working closely with Compliance Managers for oversight and monitoring
Ability to hold SP accountable to contractual requirements and oversee contract extension processes
Experience working with Outside Counsel to review and approve SP Program materials
