Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go, Java, and Kotlin
Work on APIs, background services, and system integrations
Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of existing systems
Debug production issues
Help shape technical direction and tooling as we grow
Qualification
Required
Solid experience with at least one of: Go, Java, or Kotlin
Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and data flow
Comfort reading existing codebases and improving them over time
Practical knowledge of system design, performance, and tradeoffs
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Clear written communication and good engineering judgment
Preferred
Experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, or security
Familiarity with Linux-based systems
Exposure to privacy-focused or infrastructure-heavy projects
