Responsibilities
Play an integral role in all transactions, with a specific focus on reviewing and abstracting purchase agreements and ground leases
Prepare critical dates memos and closing checklists
Analyze title commitments, title instruments, and boundary surveys
Draft summaries and objection letters related to title reviews and help orchestrate and maintain the momentum of transactions
Organize and fulfill conditions to meet title requirements
Conduct research on real property tax and ownership information
Coordinate real estate closings alongside colleagues
Monitor the recording and issuance of final title insurance policies and manage post-closing matters
Handle commercial real estate leasing matters, including drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial leases, amendments, and ancillary documents
Ensure all leasing documents comply with legal standards and client specifications
Coordinate with clients and title companies to facilitate the execution of lease documents and resolve any leasing-related issues promptly
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Excellent client service skills
Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and with minimal supervision
Effective communication with individuals at all levels, including management and support staff
Computer proficiency for document organization and management
Overall technological familiarity
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Proactive, self-starting mindset
