Responsibilities
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes
Researches, plans, designs and develops electrical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, motors, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic and heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and the application of energy
Researches the planning, design, development, and testing of electrical and electromechanical systems, with a focus on control systems, instruments, machinery controls, electric machines and motion control, with a strong emphasis on modeling and simulation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience
Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
