Responsibilities
Manage and maintain MyChart to meet organizational needs and ensure it supports efficient clinical workflows
Configure MyChart’s features to meet department needs, including patient communication, appointment scheduling, and health record access
Respond to escalated issues and provide troubleshooting support for MyChart and its integration with other clinical systems
Lead or participate in MyChart-related projects such as system upgrades, new functionality, and integration with other healthcare applications
Provide training to end-users, including clinical staff and patients, on how to navigate and utilize MyChart features effectively
Work closely with clinical teams to analyze and recommend improvements to workflows that involve MyChart and patient engagement
Develop and maintain documentation for system changes, upgrades, and best practices. Participate in testing of new features or system updates
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration between MyChart and other applications like Epic, Cerner, and other healthcare systems
Ensure that MyChart complies with healthcare regulations, security standards, and organizational policies (e.g., HIPAA)
Identify opportunities to improve MyChart functionality, ease of use, and overall impact on patient engagement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field — Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting clinical applications, particularly MyChart or similar patient portal systems — Required
Preferred
Certification(s) in relevant clinical applications (e.g., Epic, MyChart, etc.) — Preferred
Experience with Epic MyChart or similar systems — Preferred
Experience in healthcare IT or working in a clinical setting — Preferred
