New Grad, Entry LevelMonarch Metal Manufacturing is currently seeking a full-time CNC Engineer / Programmer. The role involves creating 3D models of sheet metal parts and preparing them for production using CAD CAM software.

Responsibilities
Review the production routing and product blueprints for each production part
Create 3D models of sheet metal parts using Solidworks
Unfold 3D model into our cad cam post processor
Nest parts onto sheet stock for best possible yield
Chose and apply laser or punch tooling
Review all work before production
Occasionally design parts from a rough idea or basic drawing
Qualification
Required
Experience in Solidworks
Capability of learning a CAD CAM post processor for machine code
Ability to read and decipher drawings
Experience in sheet metal fabrication
Preferred
CNC Punch Programming
CNC Laser Programming
