Responsibilities
Visually inspect and check parts for defects (burrs, chips, missing features, surface defects) and any other visual standards called out on print using approved first piece sample for comparison
Enter part dimensions onto internal computer system
Remove and contain defective parts found after inspection
Report problems and defects to the Quality Manager
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma, equivalent or combination of education and experience
Minimum of three years' experience working in Quality, Metal Stamping/Manufacturing industry preferred
Able to read blueprints
Must be available to work overtime on Saturday
Able to use micrometer, caliper and microscope
Preferred
Minimum of three years' experience working in Quality, Metal Stamping/Manufacturing industry preferred
Prior experience using optical comparator, vision requirement system, and CMM strongly preferred
