Part-Time Administrative Support
Penn State University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic Student Affairs team. The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of departmental initiatives, thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing various tasks and collaborating with staff and campus partners.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule meetings for Student Affairs staff and campus partners
Manage departmental communication channels, including discussion listservs and social media updates
Handle telephone inquiries and manage incoming/outgoing mail correspondence
Process purchases and track budget items to ensure fiscal accountability
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for budget tracking and reporting
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Zoom
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and external partners
Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
A teachable spirit and willingness to learn new systems and platforms
Preferred
Prior administrative or higher education experience preferred, but not required
