Responsibilities

Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required
Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens
Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finish and thickness
Inspect coated parts for quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and correcting defects
Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Track and report production data, including material usage and job completion times
Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and recommend process improvements

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Track and report production data, including material usage and job completion times
Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and recommend process improvements

Preferred

Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred
Knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment
Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment
Manual dexterity and precision
Basic mechanical aptitude
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
