Here to Serve, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to providing support for families with children battling cancer. They are seeking a volunteer grant writer or copywriter to assist in reviewing and updating grant proposals to help raise funds for their mission.

Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing a grant proposal and making updates related to specific grant applications (no more than 5 applications)

Participate in two meetings with the team to align on expectations and agree on the project timeline

Review the document using the track changes function checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors

Create a list of recommended changes to share as they relate to the grant applications we are applying for

Make the agreed-upon changes to the document after up to two rounds of edits on each of five grant applications
