The Sales Support Specialist will provide essential support to the sales department, manage sales opportunities, and coordinate communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Key inside contact for identified strategic accounts
Provide sales support for Fresh Sales Managers and the 3rd party sales representative teams
Enter, track and own Fresh’s sales opportunities and contacts in SugarCRM for their specified territory
Create Proof of Delivery rebate, Spiff, and promotional documentation and see that it is properly stored and organized in the company’s accounting repository
Trade shows – attendance, registration, reservations, and meeting arrangement
Sample tracking and follow up for and from sales reps and trade shows
Provide customer and industry meeting planning and support
Customer specific flyer and eblast management
Other duties as assigned
Trade show follow up e-mails and sample orders
Manage and maintain strategic accounts new item forms, data, and information updates on their websites
Coordinate & forward Fresh Marketing communications
Promotions tracking from sales rep teams
Cover for Fresh managers, marketing & leadership during travel
Monitor identified strategic customer websites for new opportunities and corrections
New product communication
Maintain price list & other needed written communications for sales rep teams and customers
Prepare and distribute communications to sales rep teams
Contact and support key customers/opportunities on Fresh business initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Open to entry level, but compensation based on experience
The position requires approximately 4-6 overnight travels per year
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
Strong customer (internal and external) service orientation
Integrity, honesty, practicality, clarity, and a constructive bias are all expected
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, in both English and other languages when necessary
Exhibits excellent time management skills and very detail oriented
Computer proficiency including competency with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
