They are seeking a motivated Engineer-In-Training 2 to gain meaningful engineering experience on highway projects focusing on roadway design, drainage, and utility systems.

Responsibilities
Design roadway projects and associated components such as roadway pavement, stormwater drainage, signing and pavement markings, signalization, lighting, and utilities
Prepare construction plans and develop roadway 3D models using computer aided drafting and design programs
Prepare and check quantity calculations, design calculations, and engineering reports
Conduct project site visits/investigations and attend construction meetings
Research and understand City, County, State, Federal, and International Engineering Design Standards
Adhering to company standards for quality control
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
Engineer Intern (EIT) registration required, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
2+ years of civil engineering experience, prior relatable internship/co-op experience preferred
Proven communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs
Experience with or capable to learn Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil3D
Experienced in and fully capable of using the Microsoft software suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
Proven strong work ethic and a collaborative team player
