Training Instructor: Supervisor Station I
Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking a highly motivated person to join the team of instructors at the Stations Learning Center. The instructor is responsible for the development and delivery of training programs in the classroom and at field locations, supervising and instructing students, and maintaining training records and evaluations.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and delivery of training programs in the classroom and at field locations
Supervising and instructing students
Developing and writing lesson plans
Developing and maintaining training aids, mock-ups and role plays
Planning, organizing and coordinating the delivery of training, both computer-based and instructor-led training
Maintain records and prepares reports and evaluations on trainees
Prepare and deliver formal presentations
Qualification
Required
Position is only open to current MTA/NYCT Station Supervisors
Must have knowledge of rules/ regulations and policies/ procedures for Station Agents, Station Cleaners and Station Supervisors
Must possess a professional demeanor and have the ability to handle demanding situations
Provide leadership skills to inductees and promotional employees
Create a safe and professional environment
Ability to work well with others and communicate in an effective and efficient manner
Ability to make sound judgments
Fluent in EAM, Excel, Word and creating PowerPoints
At least 1 year experience as a field supervisor
